Dr. Zuhair Afaneh, MD, MMM, CPE, CMQ, CPHQChief Medical Officer (CMO)

Dr. Afaneh is a Consultant Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Diabetes and serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital (SKGH), Umm Al Quwain; which belongs to the Ministry of Presidential Affairs (MOPA). He has more than 20 years of clinical and administrative experience in the USA and UAE.

In addition, He has academic experience and served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Wright State University in Ohio

Dr. Afaneh received many awards including, but not limited to, Abu Dhabi Medical Leadership and Management Award (2012); the Award of Academic Achievement in Medical Management by the American Association for Physician Leadership (2005)
