Dr. Sujay has nearly 27 years of experience in Pediatrics and Neonatology. He completed his post-graduation in Pediatrics and Neonatology from Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore, India in 1999. He worked in the department of Pediatrics and Neonatology as a lecturer at St. Johns Medical College Hospital, Bangalore, India, after his post-graduation for about 3 years. He then travelled to United Kingdom for further training in the field of Pediatrics and Neonatology. He worked in United Kingdom for about 10 years and his last job placement was at Northumbria Health Care NHS Foundation Trust as a Consultant. He has vast experience in various neonatal intensive units in the UK with total babies up to 16 in the NICU and 24 in the high dependency care (Liverpool Women’s Hospital, Liverpool, UK). He managed very sick premature babies with multiple complications. He has led and been part of the neonatal resuscitation team on multiple occasions including extreme prematurity. He is trained to use both conventional and high frequency ventilators including inhaled Nitric oxide ventilation. He was working as Consultant Neonatologist at a tertiary level NICU in UAE private sectors for nearly 8 years (since October 2014), before moving to Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital, Umm Al Quwain.
