The Neurology department provides non-emergency care to adult patients suffering from neurological disorders. The department deals with wide and varied neurological conditions including but not limited to:
- Stroke
- Epilepsy
- Movement Disorders
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Dementia
- Headache
- Peripheral neuropathy
The Neurology service is complemented by ancillary services of neuroimaging with 3 tesla MRI and Physiotherapy. The department is equipped with Digital electroencephalographic (EEG) and 4-channel EMG machine for:
- Nerve Conduction Study
- Electromyography
- Visual evoked Potential (VEP) study
- Brainstem auditory evoked potential (AEP) study
- Somato-Sensory Evoked Potential (SSEP) study
- Repetitive Nerve Stimulation (RNS) study for myasthenia gravis and other neuro muscular junction disorders
