Ms. Alia Alhaddad

Assistant Director of Nursing

Alia Alhaddad joined the organization in 2024, bringing over 15 years of progressive experience in nursing, including leadership roles in both government and private healthcare sectors. She holds a Master’s in Nursing in Clinical Leadership from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, a Master of Science in Public Health from Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Sharjah.

In her current role as Assistant Director of Nursing at Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital, Alia provides strategic and operational oversight across multiple inpatient and specialty units, including ICU, ED, MSW, NICU, Pediatrics, and Maternity. Her leadership scope includes staff development, patient safety, service planning, and clinical quality improvement.

Alia is actively involved in national initiatives related to nursing excellence, including the Pathway to Excellence® journey, Emirati nurse development, and interdisciplinary leadership forums. Her contributions to the profession have been recognized through several awards and speaking engagements at national conferences.
