Peter Howgrave-Graham is the Chief Executive Officer of Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital, Umm Al Quwain, bringing more than 20 years of senior healthcare leadership experience across the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. Peter is an accomplished healthcare executive with a strong track record of leading large, complex hospitals through periods of growth, transformation and clinical excellence. Prior to his appointment in Umm Al Quwain, he served as Hospital Director of Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi, a flagship tertiary private hospital.

Earlier in his career, Peter held multiple Hospital Director roles within Nuffield Health in the UK and served as Head of National Operations for its network of 31 hospitals. Peter holds an MBA from Nottingham University Business School and a BSc (Hons) from King’s College London. As CEO of Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital, he is committed to strengthening clinical services, and ensuring that the hospital delivers high-quality, accessible healthcare to the community in line with national health priorities.
